A professional recording and rehearsal facility located within the Exeter Phoenix arts center in the heart of Exeter, it combines high-end, acoustically treated analogue/digital studios with community-focused training, supporting local musicians and disadvantaged youth.
Sound Gallery CIC is a social enterprise, not for profit organisation founded by social entrepreneur and musician Grice Jim Peters and a team of driven and experienced musicians, educators and technicians. As a non-profit, profits are reinvested into music-making projects, training, and work experience for young people aged 14–25. It has strong links with local, national, and international partners, including Phonic FM.
The studio is highly regarded, with clients including renowned musicians like Steve Cradock (Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene).
