BANDSPACE
DESCRIPTION
A premier, purpose-built rehearsal facility managed by producer James Horwood, who brought engineering experience from Abbey Road Studios and Atlantic Records. The complex features spaces engineered by studio architects utilizing advanced acoustic isolation, where every single room is structurally isolated ("floating") with non-parallel walls to eliminate standing waves. Two rooms are outfitted with raised wooden flooring, neoprene soundproof double doors and premium acoustic balancing. Rooms are available to independent artists and external freelance producers long-term production leasing. It features dedicated free parking with step-free wheelchair access.
HISTORY & CLIENTS
Serving a broad roster of independent bands, session musicians and touring acts prepping for national festival circuits like Reading and Leeds. Independent bands and musical acts officially documented rehearsing or pre-tour lockouts include Chloe and the Butlers, Dead Red Jets, Erronaut, Three Birds Blind, Repair to Ruin, The Krill and Great Cynics. Because the larger rooms (Studio 2) are purpose-built with fixed heavy backlines, pro PA setups and air conditioning, the facility is highly frequented by 5-to-6-piece regional cover, wedding and festival groups mapping out technical live sets.
