Based at House of Music, a creative hub bringing together musicians, music businesses and organisations, noisy Rooms provides 23 professional rehearsal rooms, ranging from 15 to 65 m². Rooms are available by the hour or day and accommodate everyone from individual musicians and DJs to bands of up to 12 people, with professional backline provided.
Beyond rehearsal space, Noisy Rooms offers equipment storage, music accessories, repair services and opportunities for musicians to connect and collaborate. Its users range from emerging artists to professional and international musicians across a diverse range of genres.
Noisy Rooms operates according to the principles of the Common Good Economy, putting social and environmental value alongside financial sustainability. This is reflected in its approach to fair pricing and pay, employee participation and sustainable working practices.
The facility also runs an online musicians’ noticeboard, helping musicians find collaborators, form bands and advertise their availability.
The wider House of Music brings together rehearsal facilities, music education, industry organisations and performance activity under one roof, creating a broader ecosystem for Berlin’s music community.
HISTORY & CLIENTS
Local bands and musicians use the space as well as national and international musicians, street musicians and world stars, beginners and professionals, punk bands and free jazz, opera singers and singer-songwriters. Artists associated with noisy Rooms include Atreyu, Fløre, Chelsea Cutler, Sekou, Dylan, Mark Ambor, SANNA, Sam Tompkins and Simon Oslender Trio, reflecting the facility's broad mix of emerging, professional and international musicians.

Noisy Rooms attracts musicians from across Berlin, including Pankow, Prenzlauer Berg, Weißensee, Hohenschönhausen, Friedrichshain, Mitte and Lichtenberg, as well as musicians from elsewhere in Germany.
Its community also has an international dimension, with musicians from countries including the US, Spain, Venezuela and France using the facility or seeking collaborators. Users range from beginners and local musicians to professional, international and touring artists.
